Not knowing what this was, I looked it up and what I found was amazing. Masdar is a completely eco friendly city being built 17km from Abu Dhabi in Dubai. this completely new city is being built by the Foster group, the company behind many of the worlds greatest buildings.
This city will be powered completely by the sun and other renewable energy sources. The streets will be pedestrian friendly with all the traffic being underground in futuristic electric pods.
